May 22 2026

Welcome to the Satellite Symposium “Intellectual Innovations Shaping the Future of Healthcare and Technology” organized by the Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC National Aviation Academy and the Institute of Physiology of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The symposium serves as an international platform for the scientific discussion of strategic directions in the development and application of human-centered artificial intelligence and smart technologies. These technologies are aimed at strengthening the resilience and adaptive capacities of the human factor in the context of deep technological transformations and the increasing complexity of operational environments.
The main goal of the symposium is to bring together leading experts, researchers, and early-career scientists within the country’s scientific community to facilitate discussions on pressing challenges and innovative approaches across various scientific fields. The event will feature scientific panels, presentations, and interactive discussions.
Participation formats:
Plenary lectures
Thematic sessions (oral presentations)
Round table discussions
Detailed information on the symposium program, participation requirements, and registration can be found in the relevant sections below.
Symposium topics include, but are not limited to:
Scientific foundations of artificial intelligence and adaptive technologies
Artificial intelligence technologies in aerospace and biomedical engineering
Neuroergonomics, technologies for enhancing human cognitive and physical capabilities, and intelligent training systems
AI-based predictive and diagnostic systems, translational bioinformatics, and digital biomarkers
Real-time neuroadaptive monitoring in extreme environments
Biomimetics, smart materials, and biologically inspired robotics
Ethical, regulatory, and social aspects of cognitive artificial intelligence in biomedicine
Quantitative biophysics and quantitative approaches in medicine
Scenario modeling considering the impact of potential environmental crises on human health and the environment
Intelligent pharmacology and biologically based drug design
As a result of the symposium, a conference proceedings volume will be published. The volume will include original articles in the field of artificial intelligence and aerospace research that have not been previously published (with the exception of abstracts) and have not been submitted for publication in other journals or books.

Guidelines for Thesis Preparation
Authors are invited to submit original research papers on the symposium topics.
Abstracts of original research must follow the IMRAD structure (Introduction – Materials and Methods – Results and Discussion) and must not exceed 300 words.
Review-analytical materials (conceptual and methodological reviews) may be submitted in a free format and may be up to 500 words in length.
Abstracts may be written in Azerbaijani, English, or Russian and must present original, previously unpublished results, clearly demonstrating the relevance of the topic, scientific novelty, and potential scientific and/or practical applications.
All presentations must be in English and must cover original work that has not been published elsewhere, clearly highlighting the novelty, relevance, and expected impact of the research.
For all questions related to the organization and conduct of the symposium, you may contact the Organizing Committee.
